For the persons of earth (human and non-human alike) to coexist, for human societies to rise above the cruelty and injustices that have plagued our short history on this earth, we must drive the callous plutocracies that rule our nations towards being caring democracies. We will never approach true empathy and justice for human and non-human life on earth as long as corporations and the wealthy continue to wield power; this is what Occupy Wall Street, and the gatherings in 1500 cities around the world, are about. This is an exciting time; I hope you will be part of this movement. Get envolved somewhere near you!
